Dual Electronics XGSP300 - GPS Navigation for iPod Touch

Dual Electronics was famous for making audio equipment such as turntables, but is now venturing into GPS Navigation.  The XGSP300 is a battery cradle made especially for the iPod Touch, that comes with GPS and turn-by-turn navigation using NavAtlas, and an amplifier and speaker.  It’s received a CES 2010 Best of Innovations Award, which Dick came across a couple of weeks ago at the CES Unveiled event.

Podcast Awards Voting

Leo’s gently competitive streak has made him waver over whether listeners should vote for the Daily Giz Wiz for People’s Choice, as This Week In Tech has been entered in the same category, for the Podcast Awards.  Leo recognises that since This Week In Tech has already won before, he is inviting listeners to vote for the Daily Giz Wiz.  You can vote every day until voting closes.

Steering Wheel Desk

Peter Costello, from Central New Jersey, loves the chemistry between Dick and Leo, and wishes them good luck at the Podcast Awards.  Peter suggests that listeners check out a gadget on Amazon, the Steering Wheel Desk, particularly the tongue-in-cheek users’ reviews.
