Jabra Halo
Jabra‘s bluetooth headsets have proved to be very popular, and it’s come out with another model, this time with stereo, supporting Bluetooth A2DP, called the Jabra Halo. The earcups just sit over your ears. According to Dick, the sound is crystal clear, but the music is a little bass-shy for Dick’s favourite disco. The presence of dual microphones help with the headset’s noise cancellation.
Motorola Bluetooth Headset On its Way
Leo was asked about bluetooth stereo headsets on the radio show recently and found some made by Motorola. He’s reserving that for TTTT so that Dick doesn’t steal a march on him again.
Open-Source 3D Printer
Talk of 3D Printers (Episodes 901, 907, 912) got Brian Drake from Gallatin, Tennessee going too. He tells Dick that there is an open-source fabber, called fab@home. Just don’t let it on to Colleen, who might start replicating everything in the TWiT Cottage.
